KRIS 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024/2025
Kelab Rekreasi Invest Selangor (KRIS), the social and recreational club for Invest Selangor staffs, had successfully held its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 August 2025.
The AGM served as a platform to update members on KRIS’s activities and financial performance for the year 2024/2025. It also served as the platform to propose activities for 2025/2026 and gather insightful feedback from members.

Invest Selangor Berhad recently organised the Selangor Bio Council Meeting, chaired by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility, at Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam. The Council gathered members from the government, industry, and academia to discuss the way forward following the recent Selangor Biotechnology Action Plan workshop organised by Invest Selangor.
Discussions highlighted advancing biopharmaceuticals and cell and gene therapy within medical tourism, promoting high-value agriculture and food security in line with the Dasar Pelan Transformasi Agro Selangor (PeTA), and integrating biotechnology in waste-to-wealth initiatives to support Selangor’s circular economy.
We sincerely thank the key presenters and Council members for their dedication and valuable contributions as we work together towards a more sustainable and innovation-driven life sciences ecosystem in Selangor.

On 3rd September 2025, Invest Selangor Berhad successfully hosted a networking session for the Life Sciences Industry at the DoubleTree by Hilton, i-City Shah Alam.

As a key member of the Schengen Area within the European Union, Switzerland has enjoyed a longstanding diplomatic relationship with Malaysia since 1963, nurturing robust ties in trade, investment, and sustainability initiatives.
Selangor is thrilled to host and support numerous Swiss companies, both past and present, including industry leaders such as Roche, Kuehne + Nagel, and ABB. Their investment in Selangor has significantly enriched Selangor’s business ecosystem across diverse sectors such as global business services, logistics, and machinery & equipment.
During the engaging discussion, HE Chantal Moser, YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Chief Minister of Selangor, YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility, and also our CEO, YBhg. We were honoured to be invited to participate at MIDA’s Pitching Day sharing session for the Economic Accelerator Projects (EAP) under the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL).
During the session, we shared the latest updates on current ongoing development projects surrounding each station, which are options for investors to explore. These projects play a pivotal role in activating key spillover economic benefits, particularly in areas identified for industrial and new transit-oriented development (TOD).
The states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang also presented their plans, which are set to play a key role in boosting economic growth across the East Coast area and benefit the central region in totality.
We are committed to working with all stakeholders to support Selangor’s economic growth and make sure this important project is a success.

Invest Selangor organised the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS) Task Force Committee Meeting (1/2026) yesterday, chaired by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility. The meeting brought together state agencies, local authorities, and private sector stakeholders to review progress and align the implementation of strategic projects across South Selangor.
Key updates were presented on Sepang Gold Coast Global Village, Integrated AgTech & Life Sciences Hub, Selangor Aeropark @ KLIA Aeropolis, Pulau Carey Special Economic Zone, Selangor Carey Island Third Port, Able Business Park, NCT Smart Industrial Park, AI Digital Green Park City (proposed new project), and the Amverton Cove Eco-Integrated Township, Pulau Carey (expansion proposal).
Our focus remains clear: facilitating a seamless investor journey and positioning South Selangor as a premier, future-ready investment powerhouse in Southeast Asia.
