Invest Selangor Berhad recently held a discussion with the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO) on the Selangor Aerospace Action Plan (SAAP) 2020–2030, which was developed through engagements with industry stakeholders.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the action items and highlighted several implementation challenges, including stakeholder coordination and resource alignment. These discussions also opened opportunities for collaboration on the mid-term review of the SAAP, ensuring the action plan remains aligned with current industry needs.
As part of the engagement, a visit to the MyAERO Centre provided further insight into 3D visualisation technology and design capabilities. The facility supports talent development through certification programmes and provides access to advanced technologies that companies can leverage.

Invest Selangor recently conducted a virtual sharing session on the Selangor Lab Partnership Programme (SLPP) in collaboration with the Business Innovation & Technology Commercialisation Centre (BITCOM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The session attracted 299 participants, comprising university spin-off companies, start-ups, researchers, and industry representatives. Participants were introduced to the programme’s incentives, as well as opportunities to collaborate with strategic research partners.
Through this initiative, Invest Selangor aims to support businesses in strengthening their research and development (R&D) capabilities, while fostering meaningful collaboration between industry and research institutions to accelerate innovation and technology commercialisation within Selangor’s life sciences ecosystem.

Yesterday, Invest Selangor organised the Standing Committee on Investment, Trade, SME Development & New Economic Regions, Mobility (STANDCO) Meeting (No. 1/2026) at Concorde Hotel Shah Alam.
Chaired by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State EXCO for Investment, Trade & Mobility, the session brought together key state agencies, local authorities, and federal departments to align efforts for the year ahead.
During the session, Invest Selangor presented its performance report for January–February 2026, along with proposed programs and initiatives for the remainder of the year.
