Invest Selangor, through S-DAICO, had the privilege of hosting a collaborative engagement session with Concordia University, one of the leading universities in the world for aerospace engineering.

Invest Selangor recently engaged with the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) delegation led by Mr Hasnul Nadzrin Shah, Director of Government Affairs, AMCHAM.
The engagement provided an opportunity to share Invest Selangor’s current programmes and ongoing initiatives across key sectors, including E&E, digital, and life sciences, which are also strongly represented within the AMCHAM network.
Discussions focused on aligning industry perspectives with the state’s priorities while exploring both challenges and opportunities within the business ecosystem. Key areas covered included talent development, supply chain linkages, infrastructure readiness, and potential areas for collaboration, with an emphasis on identifying issues early and strengthening channels for ongoing engagement.
This engagement reflects continued efforts to deepen structured collaboration between Invest Selangor and AMCHAM, with a shared focus on translating dialogue into tangible outcomes for businesses on the ground.

Invest Selangor Berhad continues to drive its flagship talent initiative, the Selangor Career Outreach (SCOUT) Programme - a Selangor State Government initiative aimed at bridging classroom learning with real industry needs.
For the first series of 2026, we collaborated with the Faculty of Aerospace, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), together with key industry players and agencies, including TUSAS Malaysia Sdn Bhd, UMW Aerospace Sdn Bhd, TalentCorp, and Horizontal.
These industry leaders shared valuable insights into the aerospace industry in Malaysia—particularly in Selangor - covering hiring requirements, career pathways, and emerging opportunities.
Aligned with Rancangan Selangor 2 (RS-2) and New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030), the SCOUT Programme continues to strengthen graduate employability and ensure a future-ready talent pipeline to meet both national and global industry demands.
