Invest Selangor Berhad, together with YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State EXCO for Investment, Trade and Mobility, had the honour of attending Base Maintenance Malaysia’s (BMM) graduation ceremony of their first cohort of 55 trainee technicians. BMM is a wholly owned subsidiary of SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC).
The event was a proud and meaningful achievement not just for BMM but for Malaysia’s aerospace ecosystem development. As demand for MRO services continues to rise across the region, the need for skilled, job-ready talent has never been more critical.
What makes this even more encouraging is the strong collaboration between industry players, training institutions and the government, all coming together to build a sustainable talent pipeline. Through structured programmes like this, graduates are not only equipped with technical knowledge but also gain real hands-on experience that prepares them for the demands of the industry.
