FAQs

• What is the duration of the Programme and what is the cost to my company?

  You may register to join the Programme anytime between 1 October and 31 December 2020 and you will be able to use the Workforce Management System at no cost at all for 3 months.
  What happens after I submit my registration on this website?

  You will be contacted by our solution providers that will present their own Workforce Management System. Your free 3-month subscription will begin upon successful registration with one of the solution providers.
  What is the basic technical requirements to use the Workforce Management Systems?

  The basic requirements are internet connection and a PC. It is also advised for users of the application, i.e employees, to possess a mobile smartphone in order to be able to fully utilise the features offered.
  If I register on the last day of the campaign, i.e. 31 December 2020, will I still be able to enjoy the free 3-month subscription of the Workforce Management System?

  Yes, you will. Once you are registered under the Programme through our website, investselangor.my/PRODUTK, you will still be able to enjoy the free 3-month subscription with one of the solution providers, even if the subscription begins on 7 January 2021, for example.
  Can I register directly with the solution provider?

  If you register directly with the solution provider, you will be treated as a regular subscriber and might be charged for their services. In order to enjoy the 3-month complimentary subscription, you will have to register through our website.
  Would I be able to subscribe to both Systems offered by the 2 solution providers at the same time?

  Yes, you would. However we discourage it as  you would have to implement and manage 2 different  systems for your employees at the same time.
• What if only company’s branch is Selangor but the headquarters is in another state, will I still be eligible for the Programme?

  No, we will only accept registrations with a headquarters address in Selangor.
  What happens after the 3-month complimentary subscription period?

  Participating SMEs will have an option of continuing their subscription after the 3-month complimentary period at a price agreed with the solution provider.
  Can I choose to terminate my subscription at anytime within the 3-month complimentary period?

  Yes, you can.
  Will the data of my company be protected?

  Yes, it is of utmost importance to this Programme that your data is protected (based on the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”)) and will not be utilised for any other purpose other than this Programme. The State Government of Selangor will only be able to receive macro-level reports on the outcome of this Programme.
  What if I have more technical questions on the Workforce Management System?

  You will be able to consult the respective solution providers once you are contacted by them and presented with their solutions.
